The Town of Daniel will hold a short additional Town Council Meeting at 6 PM at the Wasatch County Services Building, 55 South 500 East, Heber City, in Conference Room B. The additional meeting is to vote on a resolution to cancel the Town of Daniel General Election. Candidate John Glodowski has resigned from the race. The resolution will allow candidates Gary Walton and Matt McMillien to fill the Town Council Member Seats currently held by Merry Duggin and Barry Dixon. If the resolution passes a notice will be posted in the Wasatch Wave, on the Town of Daniel Website, and on the Utah Public Notice Website.
Following the short Town Council Meeting, the Town Council and Planning Commission will hold a Joint Work Session to finalize proposed changes to the Town of Daniel Code Titles 1, 3, and 8. The suggested changes will then be presented and discussed in the Public Hearing which is scheduled to begin shortly after 7 PM during the Planning Commission Meeting.
