Wasatch County Community Services Building, 55 S. 500 E. Conference Room B, Heber City
ATTENDEES
A quorum is present: Chairman Bunker and Commissioners Bennett, Weight, McAllister,
Skinner were present. Commissioners Rawlings, Norris excused.
Members of the public in attendance: Amelia Pays (TO Engineering), Secretary Keary
Stephens.
● 1) Public Comment: issues limited to 2 minutes, per person – to be read.
There was no public comment.
● 2) Bassett: Residential Building Permit.
Plans were reviewed. The planning office report was presented. There was a
discussion on the acreage of the lot. The town engineer does doublecheck the
square footage for permit fees. Septic and fire sprinklers not yet approved and
there is no weed plan.
Commissioner Bennett moved that we approve the Bassett plans with
the conditions which were stated above which is flashing detail, masonry,
letters of approval from health, power, fire, irrigation and adding weed
abatement. Weight seconded the motion. There was no discussion on the
motion. Bunker called for a vote. McCallister aye, Weight aye, Bennett aye,
Skinner aye. Motion passed.
Note: issue with masonry is that the ICBO number is not yet available.
● 3) Munford: Residential Building Permit.
This is on John Glodowski subdivision lot 2. The planning report was handed out.
The report from TO not yet available. The planning report was discussed.
Flashing needs more detail. The separation of the barn and house needs to be
specified.
Commissioner Skinner moved to approve the Munford residential
permit with the conditions that are listed above and that the findings of
deficiencies are all corrected and after the review has been conducted by
the TO engineering staff and a weed control, culinary, fire, irrigation plan is
in place. Commissioner McCallister seconded the motion. There was no
discussion on the motion. Commissioner Bunker called for a vote.
McCallister aye, Weight aye, Bennett aye, Skinner aye. Motion passed.
● 4) Commissioner Report.
Commissioners Bunker, McAllister, Norris, Rawlings terms are complete as of
the first of the year and will need to submit a letter of interest if they wish to
remain on the commission. Commissioner Weight, Bennett and Skinner’s terms
expire at the beginning of 2024. Commissioner Bunker will not reapply. This is
the last month for Keary Stevens as secretary because she is moving. The
mayor will appoint a new secretary.
● 5) Planner Report.
The planner report was handed out. Items discussed:
Gate on Webb subdivision
Gordon plat not yet recorded
Trunnell commercial concept
Brad Allen permit – may need an extension
Beveridge permit issued
Freeman permit issued
Zone change deed restriction
Gebo – still waiting for direction from the court
Reeder – right of way
Bush conditional use permit sent out, waiting for reply
Interest in annexation of property by the airport
● 6) Minute Approval October 20, 2021.
Commissioner Skinner moved to approve the minutes of October 20,
2021. Commissioner Weight seconded it. Bunker called for a vote.
McCallister aye, Weight aye, Bennett aye, Skinner aye. Motion passed.
● 7) Announcements
There are openings for the Board of Appeals.
● 8) Adjourn
Commissioner Bennett moved to adjourn the meeting of November 17,
2021. Commissioner Weight seconded the motion. Bunker called for a
vote. McCallister aye, Weight aye, Bennett aye, Skinner aye. Motion
passed.
