NOTICE INVITING BIDS
Sealed bids for construction of the Daniel Pump house will be received at Epic Engineering, P.C., 50 E 100 S, Heber City, UT 84032 until Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned unopened.
A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the office of Epic Engineering, P.C., 50 E 100 S, Heber City, UT 84032 on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 10:00 am.
Construction work, in general, consists of the following:
Includes construction of a 10-ft x 14-ft building around a pump vault to house a Chlorine Disinfection System, well pressure tanks, booster pumps, and associated piping and controls. Work also includes installation of a backup generator and 1500 feet of power line. Work includes: building foundations, related site work, piping, installation of 2 booster pumps and a deep well line shaft pump with fittings for recharge, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and finish work.
This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged .
Copies of the Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans will be available at the office of EPIC ENGINEERING, P.C., 50 East 100 South, Heber, UT 84032, (435) 654-6600 and 3341 South 4000 West, West Valley City, UT 84120 (801) 955-5605; beginning on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 and are open for public inspection and use.
Those interested in having individual sets of Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans may obtain the Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans from EPIC ENGINEERING, P.C., 50 East 100 South, Heber, UT 84032, (435) 654-6600 or 3341 South 4000 West, West Valley City, UT 84120 (801) 955-5605, at a cost of twenty five ($25.00) a set for half size drawings. Acceptable payment for the above items include cash, cashier’s check, credit card, or company check. Refunds for Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans will not be made.
Bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of zero percent (0%) of the bid shall accompany each proposal.
Town of Daniel reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid or to withhold the Award for any reason the Town determines.
