At a joint meeting with the Town Council and Planning Commission held on September 11, 2017, Daniel Resolution 2017-09-11B was adopted raising the Storm Haven sewer rate from $16.00 per month to $40.00 per month.  This increase was made in an effort to build funds to continue to repair a failing sewer system until a permanent solution becomes available.  The monthly base water rate is being increased from $35.00 to $45.00, with a tiered program for adding overuse charges.  Daniel Town water personnel continue to work on both water systems to keep them in good working order, and we commend them for their efforts.  The new rates will be in effect for October charges billed at the first of November.
