Daniel Planning Meeting Minutes

55 South 500 East, Heber City, UT

A quorum is present: Chairman Bunker and Commissioners Rawlings, Weight, Skinner, Bennett, Norris, McAllister were present.

Members of the public in attendance: Ryan Taylor with TO, Nephi Trunnel, Tammera Trunnel, Brad Allen, Shelly Bunker. Secretary Keary Stephens.

1. Public Comments:

No comments
2. Vote Planning Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2021:

Commissioner Skinner move to nominate Commissioner Bunker for Chairman and Commissioner Weight for Vice Chairman. Commissioner McAllister seconded it. Roll call vote was unanimous. Motion carried.

3. Trunnel – Commercial Concept Approval:

They have modified from previous concept, the septic has been approved, water hydrants and water approved. There will be 3 phases to the project.

Commissioner Weight moved to approve the Concept with the change to one driveway entrance on Little Sweden Road. Commissioner McAllister seconded it. Roll call vote Aye: Commissioner’s Skinner, Weight, Norris, Bennett, McAllister. Nay: Commissioner Rawlings.
4. Brad Allen – Residential Builder Permit. Ranch Drive:

All the revisions have been taken care of.

Commissioner Bennett moved to approve the revised residential building permit. Commissioner Skinner seconded it. Roll call vote was unanimous. Motion carried.

5. Webb/Sunset Ridge. Gated entrance Request.

They are wanting to put a gate at the entrance of the subdivision on 3000 South. They want it for security reasons.

Commissioner Weight moved that we send this to Town Council with a recommendation from the Planning Commission. Commissioner Norris seconded it. Roll call vote was taken. Aye: Commissioner’s Skinner, Norris, McAllister, Bennett, Weight. Abstain: Commissioner Rawlings. Motion carried.

Commissioner Weight moved to approve the Entry Gate for Webb/Sunset Ridge with a positive recommendation, to draft Legal Document for removal of gate upon request from Town and other conditions from staff.
Commissioner Skinner seconded it. Roll call vote was taken: Aye: Commissioner’s Skinner, Weight, Norris, Bennett, McAllister. Nay: Commissioner Rawlings. Motion Carried.

6. Steiner Addition – 3000 S Mill Rd:

This is finally going through.

7. Minute Approval for December 16, 2020:
Commissioner Skinner moved to Approve the Minutes of December 16, 2020. Commissioner Bennett seconded it. Roll call vote was unanimous. Motion carried.

8. Adjourn.

Commissioner Skinner move to Adjourn the meeting of March 17, 2021. Commissioner McAllister seconded it. Motion Carried.
