Daniel Planning Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 7:00 PM

Wasatch County Services Building, Room 126

55 South 500 East, Heber City, UT

A quorum is present: Chairman Bunker and Commissioners Norris, Rawlings, Weight, Binkerd and Grose were present. Commissioner Skinner is excused.

Members of the public in attendance: Ryan Taylor of GDA Engineering, Brent Waterman, Jim and Stephanie Woolstenhulme, Mark and Jamie McAllister, Shelly Bunker. Secretary Keary Stephens.

  1. Public comment concerning any item not on the Agenda:

No comments

  1. Zone change McAllister – HWY 40:

They are still waiting on access information from UDOT.  There isn’t any reason to proceed without that information.

Commissioner Grose moved to continue this until the next agenda on August 16, 2017. Commissioner Weight seconded it. Aye, Commissioners Norris, Binkerd, Grose and Weight; Nay, Commissioner Rawlings.  Motion carried. 

3. Zone Change – Bunker Residence:

Mr. Bunker is seeking a recommendation for a public hearing to be presented to the town council for a zone change.

Commissioner Rawlings moved for a recommendation for a public hearing to be submitted to the Town Council for a zone change for Bunker residence on 3000 South. Commissioner Binkerd seconded it. Vote was unanimous   Motion carried.

4. Brady Karren Residential Permit:

Waiting on one or two of the items that needed addressed but should be good to go.

  1. David McCombs Residential Permit:

Review is complete. They are over budget and need to resubmit.

  1. Clyde Residential Permit:

Permit issued and they are going forward.

  1. Blotter Addition:

We are still waiting on a response from them.

  1. Chad Wood – Preliminary Plans for Residential Building:

They are really barn plans and they are asking “Can I do this”?

  1. Boundary Adjustment – Charleston and Daniel Update:

Still waiting.  Mr. Petersen’s office is making corrections on the plat.

  1. Planner Report:

Most items have previously been discussed.  Big Hollow – The County will be storing equipment on the property next to Neil Hilton. There will be a public hearing on July 27, 2017 for the Airport Overlay Zone.

  1. Minute Approval for June 21, 2017:

Commissioner Weight moved to approve the minutes of June 21, 2017. Commissioner Norris seconded it. Vote was unanimous.

Motion carried. 

  1. Motion to Adjourn:

Commissioner Grose moved to adjourn the meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 8.10 P.M.
