Daniel Planning Meeting Minutes

A quorum is present: Chairman Bunker and Commissioners Rawlings, Skinner, Bennett, Norris, Weight were present. Commissioner McAllister excused.

Members of the public in attendance: Stefanie Carlson, Brett Carlson, Lisa Dinga, Gina Williams, Shelly Bunker. Secretary Keary Stephens.

1. Public Comments:

Commissioner Rawlings would like to see an ordinance of “No Shooting Targets in City Limits”. There were 3 groups of target shooting that were shooting in the city limits.

2. Stephanie Carlson – Zone Change @ 374 E 3000 S. Parcel 20-4430.

She is questioning whether this parcel could be changed from RA-5 to RA-1. It is a 3.42-acre parcel. They want to build a house on the back of the property. There isn’t anything in the town codes at this time that would suggest that this is possible.

3. Conditional Use Permit. Set Public Hearing. Bush 4611 Storm Haven. Parcel 20-7641.

Public hearing is scheduled for the next council meeting on July 12, 2021, at 5:00.
4. Planner Report.

Violation of living in a barn, they have requested a hearing. Debo – waiting on the courts to decide on which direction to go with this.

5. Minute Approval May 19, 2021.

Commissioner Rawling moved to approve the minutes of May 19, 2021. Commissioner Bennett seconded it. Aye: Commissioners Rawlings, Bennett, Skinner, Norris. Abstain: Commissioner Weight.

6. Adjourn.

Commissioner Skinner moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Rawlings seconded. Vote was unanimous. Motion carried.
