Daniel Planning Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, July 18, 2021, at 7:00 PM
Wasatch County Services Building, Room 126
55 South 500 East, Heber City, UT
A quorum is present: Chairman Bunker and Commissioners Rawlings, Bennett, Weight were present. Commissioners Norris, Skinner, McAllister excused.
Members of the public in attendance: Merry Duggin, Stephanie Grady, Mark Haroldson, Shelly Bunker. Secretary Keary Stephens.
1. Public Comment:
No public comments.
2. Jana Bush-4611 Cove Lane. Conditional use for small education classes, Agriculture Building.
She is wanting to have educational classes on gardening and agriculture related items. Education is a conditional use and selling is a use. Storm Haven residents put together some concerns: Dry grass needs to be addressed on both sides of the road. Address the fire issues and the parking, insurance issues, road congestion, conditions and maintenance. They do not want Bush farm traffic to restrict access to the mailboxes. Add fire prevention to the condition. We will send the Bush’s these conditions.
3. Bart Wilde – Ranch Drive, Building Permit Agriculture Building Permit.
Building permit has been put on hold until in compliance.
4. Mark Haroldson – (Parcel 20-4498) HWY 40, Zone Change:
There is a public hearing scheduled for August 2, 2021, at 6:00 P.M.
5. Hazard Mitigation Plan Update:
Commissioner Bunker met with Mrs. Mecham, and it is time to update our Hazard mitigation plan. If items are on our plan, we can apply for grants and funding becomes available.
The items that were bought up was the bridge at Storm Haven and emergency exit.
6. General Plan Update:
We need to look at our plan and see if any updates need to be made.
7. Planner Report:
Corridor agreement with UDOT regarding Highway access, working with Independence, the above addressed items, Brad Allen permit, Joe Gordon lot line adjustment, David Gebo – Oral ruling remanding back to Town Council for revote (Waiting on Court consideration).
8. Minute Approval June 16, 2021.
Commissioner Bennett moved to approve the minutes of June 16,2021 with the date change. Commissioner Weight seconded it. Vote was unanimous. Motion carried.
9. Adjourn:
Commissioner Weight moved to adjourn the meeting of July 21, 2021. Commissioner Rawlings seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous. Motion carried.
