Short Title: Resolution Designating the Required Signatures for Plat Approval

Purpose: The purpose of this resolution is to designate the required signatures for approval and recording of plats with the Wasatch County Recorder’s Office.

Resolution: Whereas, the legislative body of the Town of Daniel, a political subdivision of the State of Utah, deems it appropriate to designate what signatures are required in connection with approving a plat that is to be recorded in the Wasatch County Recorder’s Office; and

Whereas, the Wasatch County Recorder’s Office has requested that Daniel Town designate the required signatures so as to aid the Recorder’s Office in their official duties;

Be it resolved, by the governing legislative body of the Town of Daniel, a political subdivision of the State of Utah, that the following signature requirements be adopted:

Subdivision plat requirements are: (a) signature of a certified, licensed land surveyor, (b) signatures of all parties owning any right, title or interest in the property contained within the survey, (c) signature of the Daniel Planning Commission chair, (d) signature of the Daniel Planning Director, (e) signature of the Wasatch County Health Department Director, (f) acting Daniel Town engineer, (g) acting water resource director, (h) signature of the Mayor, attested to by the Town Recorder.

Annexation Plat requirements are: (a) signature of a certified, licensed land surveyor, (b) signatures of Daniel Town Council members who voted to approve the annexation, (c) signature of the Mayor, attested to by the Town Recorder.
